Behind the scenes of #loungingwithchatbooks

So, this all started with a challenge....

I can do that!! I have been wanting to sign up for chatbooks, but felt a little overwhelmed with the massive amount of pictures I have. {:)}  I did go on the site a while back and chose a name for my volume of books....

Basically my blog name but, these pictures are just exactly that, they are my love. The pictures are my family. They are the artwork of my life.

Before I went to bed I was texting and coordinating lunch.  Then when I woke up I looked out the window and saw the LOUNGE chair and knew it would fit on my table!!!

The challenge to lounge was on!!!

I need me some chatbooks!!! Those who know me, know I really don't like to take pictures of myself,  behind the camera is my thing, but I need me some chatbooks!!! 

One more time. I need me some chatbooks!!! {hehe}

                                             I was and still am on a mission!!! 

I have seen thealisonshow's blog before. I remember something about flamingos and an awesome high back chair... Oh, and she was building up women!!! I am all about empowering women to be who they are! We are enough even without all the fluff!!! 

So....follow my journey behind the scenes of today's events [last night, as of this posting]....

My Misters' laundry,  I didn't iron more than he needed to wear today. {hehe}

Gigi took this picture then I took hers. I told her don't forget to have fun when you grow up!!!

Then off to the library....before the school day begins....

Gigi took the picture.... She wasn't so sure about this and I said quick, like we practiced before we left. {I'll just get on the table and cross my legs while a look at a book...quick. wink wink}

Little Em read a book about colors. I read a book about the  Czech Republic, honoring a good friend who lives there. {:)} 

Going home... Follow the yellow 'brick' road, we sing... every time we leave.

Then I went home and had to do some chores and of course create something.

Um, yep this happened while Little Em had a snack. The shoes dried while I did dishes!!!

Just 'cause I have to create something everyday.  Don't you?

Meeting with the Principal to submit ideas for an Art Program at Gigi's school. In addition to the PTA's REFLECTIONS ART PROGRAM,  I'll be teaching 6 art classes after school!!  

Um...yes, I asked him if I could lounge in the teachers' LOUNGE!!!!

Behind the scenes Little  Em stayed with the Principal's secretary...Mrs. Gloria!!!

She's like another grandma!!! 

This is what was going on when I came out. Mrs. Gloria pulled up a chair at her desk, this is in the front office. {:)}

...and  as always before we left we watched the fish!!! 

Straight from here it was lunch with a friend.  Little Em fell asleep on the way there. She is in her stroller next to me. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that too ... 

Of course, this is my favorite drink!! What could make me happier? Then A Dr. Pepper Vanilla Float from Taco Bell?

Then off to pick up the Littles, first my Little Man, and then Gigi...It takes a half an hour to get from one to another{!} Em still sleeping!!

Gigi stays after school and helps her teacher because both these Littes get out of School at the same time {!} It is easier for her to wait then then it is for My Little Man and the teacher is way nice.

Awe...man, I see tables!!!  Yes, I told the teacher about my challenge and he happily obliged.  My phone was dead so he  took this one of us with his phone an then texted to me. {:)}

{ You Rock Mr. Honk!!} Had to let him know this and so I made this..."bursting with joy"!

Then we went to visit our "adopted" grandpa, Charley, we thought he was home and wanted to take him all of the balloons, we knocked and no one answered... he wasn't home...He was suppose to be back from the Rest Home this weekend. Sadly, he was not...We went back to the Rest Home and were told we couldn't bring in the balloons... and then the lady was like...OK, just one...I don't think she could resist these littles matching smiles.

Gigi would come here everyday if I could bring her.

Our Elders really need us, and we need them, they teach us some much and help to keep our lives in perspective.

He took Little Em's hand while she sang, twinkle twinkle, pop corn popping and ring around the rosies, which she calls...boinga boing...because when you fall down, that's what we said... once! 

I took her hand and laid it palm down, palms facing and wanted to cry but I kept it together.

The contrast is so beautiful,  the young with the old. A circle of life.

It's always hard to say goodbye. It always is and will be...

Then jiggety jog off to my home... I am pooped but, completely fulfilled.

Behind the scenes:  Gigi took this. She said, 

"Mom, I think I want to be a photographer when I grow up".  {:)}

 I was going to make tacos. Taco Tuesday...but I got a text back from my Big Little. She asked me if I was going to come see her because I thought,  maybe I'd make it to her table today!  I asked her what she was doing after work? 

And then I thought maybe both of my Littles need the cheery balloons and some fun....

[this is real life stuff!! I am sharing because I love them, and know we all have bad days and good days and we all get through them.]

I typed most of this last night and thought I would add the pictures of texts this morning. My Littlest Em is sorting buttons right now.

Back to yesterday....

Oh, my heart!!  I coordinated dinner w my Big Littles. This hardly ever happens, they are rarely off at the same time from work...I am usually doing Mommer duties at home or school or Scouts...Today was different...very different.

I called My Mister asked if he was busy tonight and he told me he wasn't. {:)}  I told him I would make tacos before I left. He said don't worry about it, It's just me and the little ones, make something simple. I made Mac and cheese and left shortly after he got home. Xoxoxo to My Mister!!!

Well, where else but Taco Tuesdays at Rubios. $1.50 fish tacos!!!

I feel a lounge coming on!!!  My Big Little accommodated and took this with her phone.

Ok and then this happened....

.....and then we all started taking pictures...all 3 of us on tables!! I need to get those still. {:)}

I was just as giddy as a school girl! {:)}

We tried to use the timer on my phone this is the best we could do....It was getting dark. {:)}

My Big Littles and I are each on a different table!  Can you see them?

We had so much fun!!!  I had so much fun!!!  Like the best day ever kind of fun!!!!

I sent them home with the balloons, hugs and kisses.... "text me when your home safe and sound."

Most days I'm just a mom, well not just, but today I was a girl.

if nothing else, I took some great pictures and had a smile with me all day.  It truly was wonderful!
