Little Em says.... All I want for Christmas is a baby

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....even if we don't have our tree up yet!!!

Gigi made herself an honorary reindeer and then said that Em could be one too.
I walked in on this sweetness and couldn't pass up the memories it will make.

We didn't take family photos this year.
However, Gigi is busily making these. If your lucky you may get one.

Little Em calls Target the "spot store".  We actually have quite the routine when going there.
We drop off Gigi at school and then drive 20 minutes to the "spot store".
20 minutes!!!
Mind you, this is something we do maybe twice a month, so it's a treat.
We arrive.
She sees the spot.
 She is very happy.
We order a mango smoothie, fruit snacks, and some multi-grain chips.
We sit and eat and watch the people go by.
She waves hello to almost everyone.
Then we look at the toys, going down each aisle, but ultimately end up with the baby dolls. She looks at all of them. We talk to them, hold them, love them.  She loves all of them, but easily gives them up after about 20 minutes. Once in a while she actually gets to take a dolly home. Then, she loves it to death, names it, has it join her tea parties, tucks them into bed at night, and rotates them in her daily routine by taking care of them in some way.   I wish you could be here to see this. It's just precious.

Here's a good picture of a busy Little of 6 baby dolls.

So what did she ask Santa for Christmas? - a baby of course. ;)
What did Santa say to that request??

No sitting, but no tears so we try another approach.

High five success!!!

Now the question....

What do you want for Christmas?
Little Em - a baby
Santa, looking at me quizzically {before I started laughing} - I can't help you with that.

I couldn't help myself. Lol!!!

Me -She means a baby DOLL, I said.
Santa - OH- I can do that.

Lol, this apparently was so hilarious to me.

My Mister got it all... Pretty much frame by frame.

Merry Christmas.

From me to you w love, M
