Organize, prioritize, realize
My days keep starting earlier and earlier.
Organizing and prioritizing have been a constant in my life.
Doing what matters most, first; God, Family, Health and then what I've volunteered to do; church & scouting, and then finally doing what I want; create and learn.
In order to fit it all in, I have always had a schedule and calendar. I figured out some years ago to write everything down.
Write down all that I am suppose to do in a day and then, see what time I have left. In the early years of motherhood there wasn't room for much more than the 3 things that mattered most, God, Family, health. As my Littles got older and more independent, it freed up some time and I could add one more thing. We can't do it all, all the time.
I also learned that I needed to schedule days in advance for days of nothingness AND WRITE IT DOWN! If someone asks if I can do something I can look at my calendar and say sorry I'm busy...
even if it's with nothingness...it was for me...this IS oh so necessary.
Someone asked me how I fit it all in.
My answer is, I rotate.
I rotate my time with each child each week. I rotate chores. I look ahead and then work backwards. I do this for myself and for others. It's how I plan and set goals.
Keep your goals in front of you. Say them out loud. Doing this will help you prioritize and reach your goals faster.
Ok, enough about that, but if you have questions you can always ask. {send a comment, if you'd like. ;)}
from me to you w love,
M
