A message for My not so Little man Jo

17- I am not new to 17. Two Bigs have taught me well, the ways of leaving the nest to build their own. What have I learned? How could I prepare you for the world ahead? 

The question, "What would I want you to know the most?"  Something that would make all the difference in the world?  That whenever you thought of this message, you would instantly feel at home wherever you were. 

I'm writing it here so you may read it over and over again. And it applies to everyone not just you.

 It's a universal message. 

You are loved! {I want you to feel loved.}

You are loved by your mother and father more than you can ever imagine. 

We {They} have put their heart and soul into everything you are. {if you have not felt that...I am sorry.} 

There is someone else, in our family, who has a greater love for you, who cares for you immensely, and put more than heart and soul in you, He put his every breathe in you and made you in his image, that is your Heavenly Father. 

We are only your earthly parents. 

He sent you to us, to help raise, guide & protect you, but you were his child first.  You  have infinite worth. {yes, you} 

Just as all your fellow man. {see}

No one else will ever be like you.

You were meant to do, and be, something special. You were given talents and abilities, strengths and weaknesses, that through Him you will do great & marvelous things. 

In the ordinary days and the mundane routine of life, there will always be joy. Even in the sorrow, with Him you will be comforted. He will bless you.

He is cheering you on. 

He is on your side. 

He IS your home. 

I love you forever. These are my words. 

I know they are true. 

Remember them. 

Read them when you forget. 

Pray. Pray always. 

That is you way to communicate with Him and make Him part of your world, in His world.
