Reminiscing

My Mister.
Reminiscing, since it is our 18th anniversary.
On our first fishing trip...
I think
he thought
I was humoring him when I told him I liked to fish...
and then I caught a rainbow trout bigger than his. {26 inches to be exact}. It was a beauty and I think I caught him, when I caught that fish.
Gold panning for garnets and gold together off Electra road and finding my birthstone. Taking my Big Littles there and even our Little Jo as a babe. Now doing it again makes my heart so happy.
Digging for "treasures" metal detecting old mining sites and finding remnants of the past.
There is enough for his display case.
After looking for crystals in caves... {we were quite the adventurers}...we got stuck in the dark because we had too much fun and didn't notice inside the already dark cavern. We had to use the light of the moon to guide us down the mountainside. My Mister told me about a Greek myth, to keep my mind busy, instead of thinking of the possible snakes under my feet, or the steepness of the decline. I just listened and climbed down that mountain side at his side.
These were good memories that built a friendship. Today we are still each others best friend. I think that's how it's suppose to be.
