Prep for March: Ladies and Moms Night Out Please -Dreams become reality
I am sure that the things you think become reality! This picture sums up a lot of dreams coming to fruition. The first LMNOP, in January, I used my sister's luncheon glass plates.
{I love these plates.}
The 2nd time, in February, I decided to use paper which actually went well with the theme, but it is those glass dishes that I love.
I set out on the cheap to find some of these glass plates. AND I found some!!! I did!!!
Nine sets for .98 cents, cup and plate!!! Score!!!
But I need 12.
Well, the day after my mom came home I called her to invite her the upcoming party, and told her my plans, how I wished I had enough of these sweet little glass plates.
AND then......
she said, she had two boxes of those glass plates by her front door right now!!!
What what!!
Well, my mom not knowing about these glass dishes and my party planning as she was serving her mission, states away....
She just so happened upon them while out and about. My oldest sister was given the original sets my mom used growing up. My mom picked them up cheap too. . 10 of them to be exact and brought them home with her.
They are the same pattern as my sisters.
Now I have 19 glass plates...not matching but 19!
But wait, it gets better....
Sunday night , my best friend came home from vacation. I told her about my little dream to have 12 matching glass plates and showed her what I purchased.
I even brought one over to her house to see and we chatted a bit about the upcoming party. She's been such a support to me.
So! As we were talking she thought she had some of those dishes up high in her kitchen!!!!
AND!!!!
She did!!! 5 of the exact same kind!!!
So, now ladies I have of these beautiful glass luncheon plates to use at my next party.
I feel encouraged that I'm on the right path. These little tender mercies make me feel like the future I see, is really possible!!!
