Recipe book -meals made charming

I created a cooking blog when my Biggest Little went to college. I didn't really keep up with it. Since then my Big Littles have called for recipes, and even though I've written them down, they always seem to misplace them. I decided to continue the blog, and renamed it;

mommermenus.blogspot.com. 

It is my desire to share the recipes I made my Biggest Littles growing up and create a cookbook where they can go on-line to find pictures and tips, a place it will always be and encourage them to put music on and make things charming. 

Than I thought, why not break my recipes down by cost and include places to shop for the lowest price. 

Everyone wants to know that, right? 

These recipes are budget friendly and user friendly. Great for college students, newly marrieds, first time cooks, mom's on a budget, or moms like me, and even my Littlest Littles can use them. 

The on-line recipe keeps them safe and organized. It also helps them see things better, like what to look for when shopping. 

This was NOT done  in a perfect kitchen, it doesn't have state of the art kitchen equipment, or even granite counter tops. It's just a simple kitchen with simple utensils and me.

I was trying to create a cover...

First all handwritten, 

then all typed. 

...then a friend suggested I do both. 

I had it put on a spiral spine, with clear pages on the front and back. The grocery shopping list showing through when you turn it over, so you can take it with you to the grocery store, use a dry erase or grease pen to check mark as you go. {easy peasy-lemon squeezy} 

Laminate so it can't get wet and prop it up like a tepee on the counter and use it everyday.  {:)}

I presented them at the LMNOP cooking and blogging night, and asked the ladies for feedback. 

 

It's hard to share the dreams in my heart, take risks, open up, get feedback, but I have a yearning in my heart to create. I'm still finding my way and figuring things out...I'm sure I'll forever be doing that, but for now I'm a girl with a party in her head sharing everything that I have stored inside. I am finally ready to share a hard copy with a few ladies, to test it out and tell me what they think, and get the courage to submit it to a publisher in the near future, after addind 10 more meals.
