So many wishes. 

Wish for happiness. 

Choose happiness. 

My Mister recently took one of our Littles aside and reminded them about happiness.

 "Happiness is a choice you get to make everyday... And with EVERYTHING", he often repeats. 

I remember the very first time I heard him say these words to me, about two decades ago, when I was sad & broken and thought I'd never remarry. 

These Words Were So Powerful. 

I use to let everything get the best of me, but this changed and shaped me into the person I am today. 

I remember telling his mom, that he made me want to be a better person. I'm slowly but surely catching up to him. 

No one can MAKE you happy or unhappy. 

 It's your choice. 

You decide how to handle the things that come your way and how you are going to let them effect you.

 I felt like a victim for awhile, and now I know,  and have known, for awhile now, that I am a survivor of my past & I am who I am today because of it. 

This victim vs. survivor thing can make or break you. 

You can chose to be offended by people, 

or you can chose to let things go. 

You can choose to be mad, 

or you can choose to forgive and carry on. 

You can choose to find negativity in others, 

or you can choose to find the wonderful qualities in them. Everyone has good qualities. Everyone. Seek those.

 It's all a matter of choice, after time it's a habit that eventually becomes part of your core & you are just naturally happy....much like a child's happiness. 

My Mister must have learned this wisdom growing up & I'm so happy that my Littles are learning it from him & his example. 

 My Mister truly is one of the happiest people I know... AND one of the most loved and adored too. { I see it in how others see him & treat him }

I love that my Littles are learning this concept early. 

They chooses happy. 

They have their moments, but when given a choice, 

they always choose happiness.
