Another year for wishes
{charm says...living a creative life.}
I AM living a creative life. I feel this is my time more than ever, and am anxiously waiting to see what is in store this year.
I'm grateful that the passing of time that marks a new year, is also a passing of a new year for me. I don't get overly crazy about getting older, {anymore haha} .
Minus the wrinkles and slight sagging, greying hair; I like to call silver linings, some age spots, varicose veins, and a new thing to me along with the change in my hormones....migraines... Even with all those ailments I actually feel quite youthful and grateful to be older without much more to deal with.
I think the best thing about getting older is that I keep understanding myself more and more, and am not as hard on myself as I was in my 20's & 30's. I look forward to life ahead and maybe someday soon to be a grandma...someday!!! This thought makes me happy.
My parents sent me this happy little necklace, that I just adore.
{first picture above, is the back side of this charm. } When my parents asked me what I wanted. I already knew. I had been saving a link to the Jennifer Dalh Designs for quite a while, waiting with a wish. I was glad they asked and my dad did this all online and had it delivered to my home. Thanks dad and mom. I LOVE it!!!
My aunt gave me some birthday money.
So sweet {!} that I still get a little birthday money, thanks auntie. I bought my two magazines I've been wanting since December. :) Mingle magazine and Room to Create and some canvases to paint.
Room To Create. Shopping w Em, she wanted the candy. I gave her a flower. It wasn't the same.
Mingle magazine -winter 2015
I was especially happy to buy these magazines with coupons {!} as they are not cheap. They are my birthday, Christmas and sometimes in between times treat and treasure. A friend is featured in both of them {!!!} and I'm feeling quite inspired.
I wish...................................................... {can't tell ya}
My sister came by with her family, and gave me the sweetest, literally, sweetest candle ever!!!
I put it on my dresser with all my other little sweets. :))
My Biggest Little and Big Little came over and that was a treat in itself. No pictures?? What??
I had friends in and out until late. Late late. Some I've now for years and don't live in my town. It really was the best birthday in a long time.
One of my bffs gave me this great "be unique" picture canvas and the other one gave me a flea market tray, candle and a bird ring/necklace holder, which all just sorta completed an otherwise empty bathroom.
So thank you thank you thank you!!! I had so much fun.
I didn't have my happy birthday break it down dance, as we do to sixteen candles version of happy birthday and I didn't take any pictures during the actual festivities, but that's because I was so busy, laughing, singing, and chatting with everyone.
Then next day my Big Little posted this picture on FB.
I was truly a happy Mommer.
I will forever cherish this day.
From me to you w love, Mommer
