Keep Enduring, because there is a war!

Elder Hamula spoke during our Stake Conference a few months back, I took a few pages of notes.

I am not as familiar with the Bible as I should be, but slowly and surely I'm digging through the words of the New Testament.

Elder Hamula, at the end of his talk, briefly spoke about Revelation chapter 12. I put it in my notes to go back and read this chapter because He spoke of a war and a dragon and that made me very curious!

It is the first time I read these words in the bible, confirming that there was a war in heaven and that the devil was cast out along with his followers. Words I had heard over and over before now had a place from whence they came.

As I'm following up on those things I put behind over the summer, I am constantly working on something forward. As I read the passage, I was already doodling a girl with the moon and the sun, it seemed to fit perfectly with this chapter, so I just added stars and wings, symbolic of the words written.

" The name-title “Satan” comes from a Hebrew verb meaning “to accuse,” “to slander,” or “to be an adversary.” Thus, the title “accuser” (Revelation 12:10) reflects Satan’s efforts as the adversary of the human family, charging people with sin. On the other hand, Jesus Christ is our advocate, pleading to God on behalf of those who believe in Him."

Let me re-cap that...this last part which stuck out to me most, the women was given 2 wings of a great eagle. She was being protected.

Jesus Christ is our advocate {!} pleading to God on our behalf. So when we pray, "In the name of Jesus Christ" that is exactly what we/He are/is doing and if we are sincere HE will answer.

I am trying to ask for more and trying to feel worthy of more. More strength and courage and guidance.

If Satan will not cease, we must have something more on our side, than just ourselves. We really need Him.

To my Littles, Pray always, be believing. Search for what you don't know and hold on to what you do.

I love you so.
from me to you w love,
Your Mommer
