The possibilities are endless

Packing our "bags" for a routine Doctor visit.

Since there is always plenty of waiting time, I thought I'd bring my favorite magazine. 

And for her, a cookie. 

But this IS NOT just any magazine. 

I don't buy many magz anymore, but this one, IS ONE of the exceptions. 

Where Women Create has to be held. 

Jo Packham, the creator, her words, 

in the forward of this magazine, are like mine even though we create very differently. 

"..how could you, me, or anyone ever be tired of the world or become uninterested because of frequent exposure?" 

I'm never bored. Shoot, my everyday is frequent! I might not be creating like Jo Packham, but I'm creating. 

The possibilities are endless.

My everyday life, my everyday frequent, my family, my friends, are my muses. 

I choose to create daily.

Whether it be a play date for a Big or Little. 

A new meal...

Decorating my house... 

Or even Cleaning...yes cleaning is creating... 

All these things are part of my natural day.

 I am never bored. In fact, I need to schedule moments & days to do nothing. Which I do! 

In the moments of stillness that I carve out throughout the day & on the Sabbath, I'm still creating... I journal, study, scripture doodle or doodle conference talks, and draw my thoughts, pen to paper.

I have found that if I take a little time for me, I have more time for others. 

I think creating helps my children see that learning, creating and having fun, doesn't have to end with childhood, and neither does learning and self expression. 

The one thing that I love to do that is a little selfish on my part, and less natural than the daily, is creating a reason to gather. I love to give parties and organize events that bring people together.  

A party to encourage friendship...

A gathering to for women...

Or encouraging boys to become men... 

These are the things I love, and when all my Littles are Big, I hope to continue this creative outlet.  

So, Littles OR Bigs, if your struggling with the "frequent" of your days. I say start by throwing a party for no reason at all. I mean, it could even be a potato chip party! Really just create something daily, I know you'll be happy you did.
