#becauseofhim I am a Mom

"It's a matter of faith to have children." Isn't this so true. We aren't given minute by minute or hour by hour instruction on what to do. One minute we are pregnant, the next a baby is handed to us, our instincts kick in, we love more than we ever thought possible and we have faith that we will know what to do from that day forth.

I love being a mom.

This is Little Em. I was 42 when I gave birth to her, I had friends who were becoming grandmas and I was becoming a new mom.
I am so blessed to have her & am grateful for her health and strength.
8 years was a long time to wait for this Little.

My Little G has taught me to make every moment count.
 I am so blessed to have this Little! She is an old soul and often times I wondered if before we came to this earth from heaven, she was my mother.{:)}
She is very wise, she is very composed, she is very graceful, she is very great.
I learn so much from her tender heart.

My Little Man, is what they called him on the night he was born,
when the fireworks screamed. I am so happy to be a mom to a wonderful boy.
He is sandwiched between two sets of sisters who love him to death!
He has many Mothers!! Because of this he is very compassionate, loving, affectionate, poetic, and profound! But no drama here. That's it, its over, I'm done, kinda guy.{:)}
He is very smart, analytical, extremely routine, and hardworking.
He has taught me so much, as I know he is smarter than I!!!
I love this silly little bug.

Ah man, this little pic is going to make me cry. This is  Big Little!!
{and Biggest Little in the background, she'll get her own picture.}
Big Little is the most like me, which often times translates into stubborn, and often times bumping heads, but which makes strong, independent woman willing to do what it takes, even if all alone. I am so happy to have this snuggle bunny, and absolutely love watching what she is going to take on in the world next! Go getter!!

This is my Biggest Little on her 16th birthday. All my first were with her. Many of my mistakes were with her, except having her, keeping her and trying to make her happy.
I love this Little, for her friendship, deep thoughts and never a dull moment.
She keeps me on my toes still...and helps me to grow the most,
 always questioning, but ready to listen.
This has taught me to lean on Him for answers,
 as I try to figure out my way through motherhood
and give good guidance.

I hope all the women of the world had a good Mother's Day,
 whether you gave birth, adopted, or just took someone under your wing.

 May God bless you.

 Mothers play a divine role.

 A quote from a talk {Mother Told Me} given in 2010 by Bradley D. Foster...."Perhaps the reason we respond so universally to our mothers’ love is because it typifies the love of our Savior".

I am so happy that I am a mom and I am happy to say that when I die, if they only thing that rings true is that I was a good mom, and that I lived for the ones I loved,
then I will be happy.

This is a sweet and wonderful story that was shared at the Stake Women's Conference I attended recently.

I thought I would share it with you....

Mothers are the creators God sent to Earth...I just said that. {:)}
 hm mm. yes, it's true. I believe this. I also believe we lived with our Heavenly Father before we came here. We made the decision to follow the Savior's plan to give the glory to Thee  and not Satan's plan to take the glory for himself. We have come here to gain a body, {made possible by our MOMS} and then to follow His example to get back to Him, & because he suffered for all our sins and died for us on the cross and rose again after 3 days....we too can live with our Heavenly Father again. {I believe if you are here, you made that choice too and you are my sisters and brothers, all of you.}

Have a blessed day.

from me to you w love, M
