My littlest Little turns 2 my beautiful Eme-Lou

Lovely Littlest...Little Em...Emelie Louise...Eme-Lou ...we love you!!

I feel so blessed to be a mother to this beautiful little one. I thank my Heavenly Father for the opportunity to love and nurture this sweet spirit. I didn't think it would happen and almost gave up trying. Whenever I thought ok, I'm done, I would get a sad sickening feeling like no other feeling ever, and knew I had to be patient, and it would happen in the Lords time. She would come...I just didn't know when...
Well, timing was perfect, maybe not to the medical world. The geneticists had me worried more than I should have. I am an older mom and couldn't help to think of all the "what ifs", especially as the medical staff wanted me to do all this testing....and I finally asked why, what does it matter....I want this child no matter what....they told me of the high risk of Down's syndrome and I said I would deal with what it brings...they were shocked.  We moved on and even though being pregnant was not so wonderful, as my body had a hard time keeping up with the baby growing inside and bed rest was not an easy task for me. I did a lot of thinking and planning in those last months and I wrote a bunch of letters to her to read when she's older and maybe I'll forget.  I wrote to her how her daddy a I met and how happy we were when we found out we were having her and all my thoughts on loving The Lord.

Well, this bundle was born without ANY complication or health problems. A minor bump in the road when trying to nurse as he palate and tounge were not strong enough...but soon she became a big chubby baby...and just the most happiest Little in the world.  So many to give her so much love.

Her names sake. My loving aunt Louise.

As soon as she could walk...she started thinning out and became a sweet curious toddler...and had such a way to communicate with us even if her words didn't come until later.  She had/has such a good sense of humor and such a sweet dispostion.
Very easy going, much like her dad.

She's very much a daddy's princess...she reminds me of him so much....she called him "Daden" for a while and the big Littles decided that would be what they call him from then on.

She started liking her potty chair early on.

And she loves bath time being a mermaid and letting her hair float.

She is sweet and such fun.

I love seeing things through her eyes!

She has turned out to be quite the artist.

I just think there's nothing she can't do. I love exploring life with her.
She gives us so much love and others too!

So, now that she is two, I wonder what's in store for her?

Happy birthday little Em, the littlest of my Littles.

I love you!

From me to you w love, M
