Random act of kindness
Well, I figure this is where I am documenting life and so here I am...
Two days ago, I took Little Em and Gigi on a bike ride. We just went down the block when we saw that a neighbor friend was setting up for a garage sale. We stopped to chat and the whole time Little Em played with a disney vanity.
When it was time to go she cried and cried, she was rather dramatic, which is unlike her. She cried out, " Princess!!! Princess!!! all the way down the block, she cried and whimpered..."princesssss, prinnnncessss...." I told my Mister that I was going to have to buy that for her in the morning as I have never seen her want something so much. I think the girls must have been talking about the princesses while I was talking to the mom because princess isn't a word we use much and other than the movie Frozen, she hasn't really had any interaction with disney princesses.
Well, in the morning as we were walking to the car to leave for school this little pink wonderful thing was sitting in my driveway. :)))) { heart heart heart }
I ran back in the house and got my good camera and captured the moment of my Little one's discovery. Pure Joy!!
My heart was and is still so full. A sweet gesture from a little girl, will always be remembered.
Look at this, how lovely...how innocent....how sweet....
I just dawned at me that she hasn't had too many opportunities to look at herself in the mirror.
I hope she sees what I see in her and not just the outside but the inside too. I hope she sees she is a child of God and a wonderful sister to mankind. I am so in awe of this random act of kindness and the beautiful heart that the little girl down the street has and the parents that have raised her to recognize an opportunity to do something kind.
I am ever so grateful, and ever so humbled at the blessings that come into my life and I know that this may seem like nothing to many, but I think that God has worked in the hands and heart of the little girl down the street and in the stirring of my own Little, for now she sees someone looking back at her in the mirror.
Oh, my {blessed} heart!
from me to you w love, M
