Little G's birthday -Its all about the heart

 Gigi had a busy birthday!

Her daddy accompanied her on a field trip.

They went to California Caverns.

Then after a long ride home....

She had practice.....

They are practicing twice a week and are getting better and better all the time.  Mindy Gledhill's song, It's All About the Heart is so fitting for her.

They have decided to change things up a little bit in the middle and  are keeping it a surprise.

Then we got ready for a family birthday party. I like to keep things simple but special, luckily Gigi is easy to please. When I asked her what kind of dessert she wanted, she told me pancakes. When I asked her what she wanted for dinner, she told me...pancakes....w crunchy bacon!!

So, while they were gone I went to the market to buy some things to make it special.

My Mister made the pancakes and bacon....

Little J cut the bananas and strawberries....

Strings blew up balloons and hung them on string....

I set the table and decorated a little bit...

I had to add a little something extra to the already colorful poms because I wanted Gigi to feel special and not just ordinary today. {:)} 

Big Little made a crown and spruced up her chair...

We called her out, sat her down in her #4 chair...as fourth Little, crowned her and sang happy birthday to her.

We all had pancakes and thought maybe this is what we should all do for our birthdays. {hehe}

Everyone made their own special pile of pancakes....

Biggest Little came after work...

Then we went on a bike ride...her confidence is growing, but she fell off her bike and wasn't sure she was going to get back on, but we all cheered her and she was a trooper and began again.

...and Big Little took a turn....

The birthday bird left a gift....

a tradition started a long time ago...

I love to create moments of whimsy and magic with my Littles... {this began when she was 2}

a multimedia art book from a little birdie who told me she'll be needing this soon. {:)}

She was given a few gifts....

some nail polish, and nail pen and nail tape from Biggest Little...

  A necklace from Big Little

and a lego set from mommer and dadden

I am glad that such simple things bring her so much joy!

There are so many things I love about this Little, but mostly her big heart. She is caring and thoughtful, smart and funny. She has her very own sense of style, and has been doing her own hair, unless, I curl it....since the 1st grade!  She is a very smart cookie and has a memory like her dadden.
