St. Patricks day - mismatch mustache

Realized I completely forgot to share  this little holiday. {:)}

Just a little bit of whimsy to celebrate the holiday and give it a masculine touch.

The girls always out number the boys in this house. I thought they could use a little company on this green holiday season.....St. Patrick's day has always been a day my family likes.....mainly for the food.

Corned beef and cabbage is so well loved around here that it is even asked for as birthday dinners.

We decided to invite the missionaries over so we could have more "men" around!

I decided to be creative and see what I could come up with.
I purchased the mustaches  and the glasses for $1.00.
The rest I already had.

I started by making a runner for the table and added a little pink so it could last through spring. {:)}

Then I started working on a mustache banner...at first I was going to make all the mustaches green,
but then thought the "mismatch mustache" would be better.

So, I cut out mustaches...

I used fusible material on the back of  the color swatches.

Cut them out...

PINNED them on....

Then pinned them onto this string and hung off the skis...

WALA here it is!!!

It was fun. I started thinking maybe I would trade my holiday crafts for other's creations,as I probably will want to create something new next year....hmmm....I might just have to offer for trade...

Then of course the glasses!!! Don't forget your green!

So glad these two sisters have eachother.  Little Gigi, amazes me with her care and patience.
I love that she is willing to take Little Em wherever she goes.

from me to you w love, M
